Alex Ermolaev

Alex Ermolaev is a Director of AI at Change Healthcare. He has more than 20 years’ experience building business software companies by combining deep market insights with high-performance teams, clever product road maps, focused product development and effective go-to-market execution.

Alex has an extensive AI background, including working at Bell Labs on Expert Systems and Natural Language Processing; collaborating on multiple startups where he explored object detection, ads/brand detection, drone navigation, and self-driving; and at Nvidia, where he was instrumental in deep learning, AI platforms/tools, cyber, fraud, and enterprise AI.

He has helped build several billion-dollar businesses from scratch at some of the world’s largest tech companies, including Microsoft’s entry into the business apps market and Nvidia’s entry into AI platforms. He also built two startups on his own and advised nearly two dozen others.

Alex, a frequent speaker about “all things AI” at top universities, technology companies, and conferences, hold a Master’s in “Economic Cybernetics” from Plekhanov Academy in Moscow, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
